Dem Franchize Boyz are a US crunk rap group from Atlanta, forming at their Westside high school and are currently signed to the So So Def label (other artists include Da Brat, Bow Wow, Slim, Young Capone, and JD).
The boyz are made up from Gerald “Buddie” Tiller, Maurice “Parlae” Gleaton, Jamal “Pimpin” Willingham and Bernard “Jizzal Man” Leverette.
Prior to their 2004 debut, Dem Franchize Boyz (DFB) has released five independent street albums and mixtapes, creating a local following. Their first major release, “White Tee” from the DFB album made number 79 in the US Hot 100 in 2003, but their following two releases “I think they like me” (number 15 in the US Hot 100) and “Lean Wit it, Rock Wit it”) (number 7 in the US Hot 100). Both these tracks went to number 1 in the US R&B/Hip Hop and US Rap Charts.
